Yoohoo... I'm on a roll!!

This is my entry for the Creative Journey Create a Card challenge. I hope I am still on time for this one.

A modified version of the previous card...

I made a small change to the previous card. Added some gold flowers as well. Thanks Laura and Joke for your appreciation! You don't know how much your comments mean to me :-).

I dug out the lace from my mom's sewing cupboard, and gosh, she has the loveliest collection I have ever seen. Even those huge buttons ;-).

A card for the 2S4U challenge

Here I am... I am so happy today that I don't even have words to describe my happiness!!! First, let me wish all my Malayali friends a very happy and prosperous Onam. I made a few traditional Onam dishes today :-).

Next, here is the card for the 2Sketches4U challenge based on Laura's Sketch #8. I hope you like it. I am very happy with the results.

I have finally managed to come up with one card. Yes, it took me too long... But I am happy... this is my first rubber stamping card :-).

Coming soon

This post is for Sharanya, a regular reader of my silly little blog and a family friend. :-). Well, I am currently not at home, so there is no card even this weekend. But I have done some work now that I can use for my cards soon. :-D. I have been collecting scraps that my mom doesn't need any longer... I have also dug out an old box of oil pastels and some spray dried colours which I intend to use for my card...Sorry to keep you all waiting.

What is this world, if full of care... we have no time to stand and stare

I so very badly want to create a card, but I can't!!! No, I'm not really out of ideas or anything...I just don't have the time for it. Did I hear you say I was offering an excuse?? Well, frankly, I am not. There has been just too much of work these last few days. My maid has taken a few days off and so has my cook... Aaryan is making me run around the place and more often than not, I am carrying him around even while cooking!! My brother-in-law is not keeping well and is home today...Trying times these are... I hope I am out of this phase soon.

I really hope to create something nice very soon.
