A new service

Heya,

I am glad I didn't post yesterday. You'd have never come back to my blog if I had... why?... because I was in the crappiest moods! I am good now though. But I need to get to business right away...

I am sure you all have craft tools that you love a lot... things you can't stay without. Right? I do too. Now, here is a new service offering from me....

If you want to break any tool, I can do it for you... and that too without wasting much time and money!! Yeah, you got me right. Can you believe this? I broke 2 punches in just as many days?!?! With the right punches so hard to find here, I must be too good with this breaking business to actually break 2 of my dear punches! Out of that, one I had just bought last morning!!! I didn't use it on even one card (and it was a beautiful border punch) :-(
I am really upset with myself. My mom-in-law (God bless her) tried to sympathize with me yesterday and said may be the quality wasn't good... my mom wondered what I could have done to break a punch and then said I should buy the same things again to make me feel better. And I... I was in tears and I was angry not knowing what to do!!

Sorrowfully,
Smita

  1. Poor thing! Don't feel so bad, I'm on my 3rd EK Success cutterpede. You'd be surprised how I broke it...it missed the table top and fell...on the floor. Twice! I consoled myself by buying new ones! My first one was green, second one was pink and my current one's purple.

  3. Ouch... dat must have hurt...

totally agree with yr m-i-l, the quality sometimes is so fragile and terrible dat it just snaps off... i broke a super favourite MS border punch a couple of months back and havent been able to find a replacement too:(

bt dont worry, maybe this means u get a better stuff this time!!! B+ ;)

  4. owwwwwww, I'm feeling so bad for u.......but cheerup coz this gives u more opportunity to shop without feeling guilty :P
PS: are u sure they are broken? cause usually it is possible to entirely dismantle a punch and then put it back to together.

  5. C'mon Smita it isn't you..it's the punches..The quality of punches we get in India is actually bad..Sometimes they get stuck in thick cardstocks..I have ruined atleast 2/3 flower punches and once had to use a hammer for the punch to let go of my dear lovely paper....

  6. My dear, things are meant to break..and we do repent, but you do know the quality of these so called made in china things...they are kaam chalau..don't fret. pamper yourself by buying new punches..and I do have a couple of useless people whom I intensely dislike and you could punch them if you want to get rid of your frustration!!

  12. Oh hon, I feel for you! do they not accept returns there? Obviously they were defective. I know that can be a real pain, but still... xxD

  13. i agree punches do not break - no matter what you do. It takes a lot of force or a hammer to break! i really think you have been sold a defect one and would return it
