I made a simple card yesterday... and for once, I immediately liked what I made... I was in a major mood for crafting but in no mood to turn on the comp and check out any challenge blogs... so I set my own challenge - to make a card using stuff that are available out here. I decided not to use any DP or fancy embellishments that are not readily available in my city ;-) Yeah, I know I took it too far by the last specification..LOL!! But I did manage it ;-)
Here is the card:
Ingredients
CS: White textured (TK) paper as base; Chocolate brown and green tinted papers
Stamp: Leaf stamp from a pack of clear stamps from Hobby Ideas
Others: Sentiment sticker, flower, and brown satin ribbon from local craft stores
And here is a big secret... I hate the color Chocolate brown ;-) but I just decided to use it and see if I can like it on cards :D
Love,
Smita
Quite an interesting blog i should say...some what very different!!! My first visit to your blog n definitely not the last...lolz!!!
ReplyDeleteWell i loved your cards and believe me they are awesome. In fact the Easel card i found that more beautiful.
In todays world where every thing has gone digital its quite difficult to start a card trend where ppl are using more n more e-cards...but i suppose these types of cards are rarely available in the market and this to me i think is the USP of your product. M sure if marketed well your product will definitely get quite a good eyeball...trust me!!
Was nice to hear that your son is your inspiration behind this blog...great!!
take care!!
I love this one, esp the flower......the color combo is great too
